WHAT IS DRYNC?
The free Drync app lets you buy wine at the moment it is most relevant to you – while you are drinking it. We enable you to quickly and easily discover, rate, save and buy wines you love from your mobile phone for home or office delivery where allowed by law.
DO I HAVE TO HAVE A MOBILE PHONE OR TABLET?
No! Use Drync at www.drync.com. Anything you save there will also stay in your account for mobile devices as well.
WHO CAN ORDER THROUGH DRYNC?
Drync currently enables wine shipments to 42 states within the US and we are moving fast to service more areas. To see if Drync is available in your area, go to the “Account” tab, and edit your shipping address. You will be prompted to update your state, at which point you will be notified if we do not ship to. If you do see any notice, then start shopping! Of course, you need to be of legal drinking age, which is verified upon delivery.
HOW DO I KEEP MY WINES ON ALL DEVICES?
Simply ensure you are signed into the same account (email address and password) across any device you want to use. This includes iPhone, iPad, Android, and Drync.com. Your wines will automatically sync if you are using the same account. Not seeing wines in your account? Just contact us at support @ drync.com and we’ll help you out!
HOW DO I JOIN DRYNC THROUGH A FRIEND’S PERSONAL LINK?
When you receive an invite link, you will be directed to a special sign up page on the web, where you can sign in with Facebook, or create your own username and password. When you download the app for iPhone, iPad or Android, and log in with the same credentials, a credit will be added to your account and applied to your first order.
HOW DO I EARN AND USE CREDITS WITH DRYNC?

You may view your balance online at any time when you are logged into the Drync website by going to the invite page. We’re also working on adding this inside the app, stay tuned!
HOW DO I CONTROL NOTIFICATIONS?
Wait, was it something we said?! We can change – we promise! In all seriousness, shutting off notifications will mean that you might miss out on important communication from us (status updates regarding your order; wines that come back in stock; special deals and promotions). However, if you still wish to shut off notifications, you must do so outside of Drync:
- Navigate to “settings” on your device
- Tap notifications
- Scroll down, tap “Drync,” and modify settings as desired.
HOW DO I ENABLE FACEBOOK SHARING
On the iPhone or iPad app, navigate to “My Cellar.” From there you can tap on the “gear” button located on the top right hand side of the app. Once tapped, you will be brought to the “Account” page. Then scroll down till you see “Account Info” and then tap on the Share via Facebook (the button must be green).
HOW CAN I ACCESS AND CHANGE MY ACCOUNT SETTINGS?
On the iPhone or iPad app, navigate to “My Cellar.” From there you can tap on the “gear” button located on the top right hand side of the app. Once tapped, you will be brought to the “Account” page. Once the page has been accessed you can change your Account Settings accordingly.
HOW CAN I RATE DRYNC?
On the iPhone or iPad app, navigate to “My Cellar.” From there you can tap on the “gear” button located on the top right hand side of the app. Once tapped, you will be brought to the “Account” page. Scroll down to “About Drync”and then tap on Love Drync? Rate the App. This will redirect you to the app store where you can leave a review of the app.
HOW DO I LOG OUT OF MY ACCOUNT?
On the iPhone or iPad app, navigate to “My Cellar.” From there you can tap on the “gear” button located on the top right hand side of the app. Once tapped, you will be brought to the “Account” page. Now scroll down all the way to the bottom, the Log Out button is there (in red), simply tap it to be logged out.
HOW CAN I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?
If you would like to delete your account, please send an email to feedback @ drync.com with the subject line: Delete My Account. We will then remove all of your information from our database. You should also remove the app from your phone to finalize the process.
HOW CAN I SEND FEEDBACK?
All you must do to send feedback to us is log into the app and then tap on the menu located on the top left hand side of the app. Once that has been tapped, scroll down to the “About Drync” section. Then you can select Send Feedback from the menu options, once tapped you can send us a feedback.
CAN I ORDER BEER OR SPIRITS THROUGH DRYNC?

How to add wines to Drync
HOW DO I FIND THE WINE I’M DRINKING?
Easily! Just follow these steps:
- In the app tap the camera button on any screen.
- Make sure that the lighting is good, and the label fills the screen.
- Tap the camera button again to snap the pic.
- Add tasting notes, ratings, tag location, and share with your friends, if you wish.
- Tap “continue” to match the label to a wine and add it to your cellar.
You can also text search for any product using the search tool.
WHAT IF IT DOESN’T MATCH CORRECTLY?
Most of the time we find your wine in seconds, but if it doesn’t automatically match correctly, just tap “FIX.” Here you can change the vintage or browse a list of other likely candidates for the match. Still can’t find your wine? Tap “Wine Not Here” and one of our human curators will look at your request and match it to the correct wine for you. We like it when you do this, so don’t be shy!
HOW DO I DISCOVER NEW WINES?
Drync features “Collections” of expert-curated wines suggestions for you to peruse. Wines are categorized by flavor profiles, regions, featured experts and other themes (20 Under $20, Wine Collection Starter Kit, and Pure Pinot Power are some of our most popular). You can also peruse what your friends and other users are drinking, by going to the Live Activity Feed.
HOW CAN I ADD WINES TO MY CELLAR?
There are 4 ways to add wines to Drync:
- Scan as per the directions above.
- Import existing label images from your existing photos.
- Tap the Camera icon as you would to snap a picture of the label.
- Tap the squares in the lower right hand corner.
- Select your image.
- Proceed with steps 4 and 5 above.
- Search for wines with our search option. This one is super handy if you are having a wine by the glass in a restaurant.
- Tap the menu bar in the upper right corner
- Tap search
- Pop in anything that you want to search (producer name, region, grape variety etc).
- Use our filter options to refine your search.
- Wines that are for sale in your market will appear at the top of the results page.
- Tapping into the wine, will add it to your cellar. Tap save to add it to your wishlist.
- Add wines directly from collections or your friends’ activity feeds. Simply tap into the selection, and it will automatically be added to your wines.
WHY DON’T MY WINES HAVE VINTAGES LISTED?
The only way to see vintage within the wine page is to add a tasting note. However, if you are importing an image or scanning a label, you can set vintage on the ratings screen (see image). If you forget, and want to ensure that you have the proper vintage, tap fix on the wine page.
WHERE DID MY WINES GO THAT I ADDED A WHILE AGO?
Not seeing wines in your account? There most likely still here under an earlier username or e-mail address. Just contact us at support @ drync.com and we’ll help you out!
I HAD AN AMAZING WINE MONTHS AGO. HOW CAN I FIND IT NOW?
My cellar is equipped with a search function. You may also filter by grape, region, style, or winery, and sort by date, price, rating, or name.
WHAT’S MY WISHLIST AND HOW DO I ADD WINES TO IT?
Your wishlist is where you save wines that you have not sipped yet but are looking to try. You can add wines to your wishlist in two ways:
- Tap “want” on an item in your activity feed.
- Tap “save” on a wine page.
Fellow users can also see selections that you have added to your wishlist (be selective – that could be your next birthday present).
I HAVE WINES THAT I HAVE PURCHASED OUTSIDE OF DRYNC. HOW DO I ADD THEM TO MY CELLAR?
This can be done on the web or in the app.
On the web:
- Find the wine either in your cellar or through a search.
- Click on the individual wine.
- Click edit.
- Fill in details on the editing screen as needed.
In the app:
- Find the wine in your cellar or through a scan or search.
- Tap on the individual entry, and scroll down until you see the word “owned.”
- Update the owned screen as needed.
HOW DO I DELETE A WINE?
Scroll to the bottom of the wine page, and tap “remove from my wines.”
How to find friends and wines on Drync
HOW DO I FIND FRIENDS AND FOLLOW THEM ON DRYNC?
Three quick easy ways! Connect with Facebook to follow your friends already on Drync. Find other friends through the App by tapping on the “gear” button located on the top right hand side of the app (when in “My Cellar”. Then tap on “Find Friends”, search for your friends by username and follow them if you wish. You can also find new people (and follow them) by going through the Live Activity. If your friends are not on the app you can share with them your
WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE MY ACTIVITIES PRIVATE?
On the iPhone or iPad app, navigate to “My Cellar.” From there you can tap on the “gear” button located on the top right hand side of the app.
I WANT TO CHANGE MY USER HANDLE – ANYTHING THAT I SHOULD KNOW?
Your Drync handle is directly linked to your sharing link. While you may change that at any time you wish, if someone tries to use your original link, it will not function as designed – meaning that you will not get your credit when their order ships.
HOW DO I SEE MY FRIENDS IN MY ACTIVITY FEED?
Step one is to authenticate with Facebook. If you did not do this originally, then sign out and log in with Facebook. Encourage your friends to do the same. Any of your friends on Facebook who have the Drync app and have authenticated with Drync will appear in your “Friends” feed.
WAIT, WHERE DID ALL OF THESE FOLLOWERS COME FROM??
If you created your account via Facebook, Drync automatically started following folks from Facebook that are also Drync users.
HOW COME I DO NOT HAVE ANY FOLLOWERS?
If you did not create an account with Facebook, you are starting with a clean slate. Find new folks or invite your friends to join the fun.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I GET NEW FOLLOWERS?
Drync will send you message on your phone.
Buying Wine through Drync
WHY SHOULD I BUY ON DRYNC AS OPPOSED TO MY LOCAL LIQUOR STORE?
We’re not a retailer, we enable your local store to bring you 15X more choice than they can carry on shelves. The typical store carries about 1,000 wine selections, but with Drync, we put 30,000 or more wines at your fingertips to order, and we send the orders to local retailers to fill for you. We have the orders shipped to your home or office by local retailers, or in select areas, have them ship-to-store for you to pick up — all the while supporting your local wine shop and saving on shipping at the same time!
HOW IS THE WINE DELIVERED?
Our retailers ship everything by FEDEX Ground and require in-person delivery with signature to verify legal drinking age. Retailers also take the weather conditions — hot or cold — into account because they can affect the quality of the wine. During extreme heat during the summer months, or extreme cold during the winter months, they may hold shipments to your area. If this is a problem due to a time sensitive package, please email us.
Once you have made a purchase, we will send you an email confirmation with your unique tracking number, which you can use to track your purchase at https://www.fedex.com/fedextrack/.
DO I NEED TO BE PRESENT TO ACCEPT THE DELIVERY?
You, or a representative age 21 years or older, must be present to receive and sign for the package. We provide tracking information to help you coordinate. If you work out of home during the day, you may wish to have the package shipped to your offices to ensure someone is present to receive it.
HOW DOES SHIP-TO-STORE PICK-UP WORK?
In-store pick up is super easy. If we offer it in your area, you can simply select from the available 30K wines. In the checkout page you will have to option to select “Pick Up in Store” and then you will be given a list of available retail locations. Once the order has been finalized, we will automatically notify the appropriate retailer. Your wines will then be ordered. Once they arrive and your order is ready for pick up, you will be notified, then all you must do is go to the appropriate retail location (with your Order Receipt and ID) to pick up the order.
WHY CAN’T I GET MY WINES THE NEXT DAY?
Sometimes you can, it all depends on the scarcity of the wine you order. Depending on availability, some wines may take 7-10 business days to process and ship. Orders are sent via FedEx Ground, which can take an additional 3-5 business days. We will provide you with tracking information.
WHAT IS YOUR VINTAGE SUBSTITUTION POLICY?
In some situations, a particular vintage may be sold out. At the top of the ‘Checkout’ page in the Drync app, there is a checkbox entitled ‘Allow Vintage Substitutions.’ If this box remains CHECKED and the vintage you ordered is unavailable, we will automatically substitute a different vintage (usually more current). We will send a courtesy email to you if the bottle price is over $30.
If you have UNCHECKED the box, meaning you do NOT want us to substitute the vintage, and the wine is $30/bottle or more, we will NOT automatically substitute the vintage. Instead, we will let you know what other vintages are available and give you to option to proceed or remove the wine from your order.
Wines priced under $30 may be substituted without notification by our fulfillment team regardless of whether the ‘Allow Vintage Substitutions’ box is checked.
MY WINE IS DAMAGED OR BAD. WHAT DO I DO?
If your product was damaged during transit, we will happily replace the wine, or reimburse you. We may require you to hold on to the damaged item(s) and/or submit photos of the travesty while we process a damage claim with the carrier. Please contact us before disposing of any damaged items.
It is an unfortunate thing, but sometimes wine does get tainted before it leaves the winery. The most talked about is “corked” wine. It is an unfortunately thing, but if you happen to receive a tainted bottle of wine, please hold onto what’s left and contact us.
