Radford Dale Chenin BlancStellenbosch, South Africa
Selected as the “Best in Class Chenin Blanc” by Decanter in 2012, “Renaissance” celebrates the re-birth of Chenin Blanc. This wine is made from from un-irrigated, old bush vines that grow on the base of the Helderberg Mountain in Stellenbosch. The wine is barrel-fermented and matured with extended lees contact.
Avignonesi Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
Southern Right Pinotage Walker Bay, South Africa
Southern Right is re-defining Pinotage with this intense, clay-grown wine, packed with complex berry fruit, beautiful tannins and subtle wood spice. Full ripeness and a longer hang-time afforded by cooler sites, make this wine a highly individual expression of South Africa’s unique grape variety.

Developed in South Africa in 1925, it is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault that produces a deep, earthy red wine.      South Africa is home to the most plantings of Chenin Blanc of any wine region in the world, but it’s original home is in the Loire Valley of France.

Give a Toast in Afrikaans!

Afrikaans is the native language of South Africa, originating from 17th century Dutch.

Get in the South African spirit with this toast:

Laat hy val waar hy wil!

(Literally – “Let it fall where it wants!”)

Or just go for their version of “Cheers”:

(Literally – “On Health!”)
