Drync announces new expansion for iPad, with social discovery features to compliment its scan and buy wine platform



We are pleased to announce our new iPad app, offering an elegant, image-rich platform for social wine discovery and purchase.

Our users have consistently asked for three things – the ability to discover and buy wines they will love, a way to connect with friends and share wine experiences, and an iPad-specific product to ­do both. Our new iPad product is the perfect wine discovery tool and creates social platform for sharing and discussing wine.



 The iPad launch is in conjunction with Drync’s new social activity feed, which allows users to view, comment on, and buy what friends and others in the Drync community are enjoying. Deep integration with Facebook and Twitter allows users to filter activity and easily connect exclusively with friends on Drync. These new features will  improve social engagement and discovery in the app and make buying wine less intimidating, more relevant, and more fun.

This much anticipated iPad debut comes on the heels of a recent $2.1 million round of financing.
